German Propaganda

The piece of propaganda I'm focusing on is about the blackout regulations in the 1940s, as the direct translation is, "The enemy sees your light! Black out!" The picture's intended audience is everyone under Hitler's rule. It's effective because it influences fear, as the people of Germany were afraid of the ones under Hitler's order, so they followed what and who they were supposed to. Blackout

Famous Celebrity

Image
If I had to choose one famous person to hang out with, it would be Veronica Roth because she is a huge inspiration to me. I would ask her about how she got her inspiration for the Divergent series and how she told such an amazing story. We would probably go to a cafe and talk about book ideas, as I would love to be a writer when I grow up. She also went to Northwestern University, and she is what sparked my interest to attending.

Happiness

Happiness is laughing and talking with friends at lunch Happiness is spending time outside, taking in the many sights Happiness is lounging on the couch with a good book Happiness is feeling the rush of water as you swim laps in the pool Happiness is listening to the tapping of buttons as you try furiously to beat the game Happiness is sitting at home with a soda in your hand and watching your favorite movie Happiness is laying on your bed talking with your best friend Happiness is spending time with your parents at a restaurant Happiness is cuddling up on your sofa with your family as you drift off to sleep Happiness is finally saying what you have been restraining yourself from saying for what seems like forever Happiness is saying the words, "I love you."

Super Bowl LI

The Super Bowl Commerical I am focusing on is the "We Accept" commerical. The message this commerical is trying to convey is that it doesn't matter what your beliefs are or who you love or where you came from. You are you, and no one can change that. This is important because today's society is so fixated on your religious beliefs, if you're LGBTQ, or the color of your skin, but when it comes down to it, that's not really important. They are trying to reach out to the world, saying that they are accepted, and the intended response is positive, that the people will band together now.

Advice

The advice I would give to Donald Trump is to listen to the American people and find a compromise that will work for everyone and not just him. He thinks that he can do what he wants because he's the president, but he doesn't have the authority to. He can implement the building of the wall and the immigration/travel ban, but the people of the US don't approve of it, and there are hundreds of military officers overseas, so he cannot just ban anyone from entering the country, especially those overseas for their jobs. In order to be the best president he can, he has to think of the people and what is best for them and not just himself.
